Your tour includes:

  • 2 nights Mai Tai Resort in Superior, Deluxe Suite or Executive Villa - Breakfast Included
  • 2 nights Green Island in Island or Reef Suite (Room only).
    Spacious guest room of 56 square metres. Choice of double or twin rooms, some inter-connecting or adjoining. All rooms with separate bath and shower, and private balcony. Set in clusters under the rainforest canopy and adjoining central facilities
  • This package gives you the flexibility of adding additional nights at either Mai Tai or Green Island Resort.
  • You can also upgrade to a Deluxe Suite or Executive Villa at Mai Tai and a Reef Suite at Green Island Resort.
  • Full Tropical Breakfast Daily at Mai Tai Resort only

NB: A Government Environmental Management Charge of $5 per person is payable direct to Green Island for all adults and children 4 years and over entering the Great Barrier Reef World Heritage area. A fuel surcharge may be applicable.

Day One
On arrival organise a taxi to deliver you from Cairns airport to the Reef Terminal for your catamaran voyage across to Green Island. (NB. Taxi transfer is at guests own expense). Green Island is located 27 km across the Coral Sea from Cairns in Tropical North Queensland, the eco-sensitive Green Island Resort is luxury on the Great Barrier Reef. Romance, indulgence and luxury accommodation awaits.

With just 46 suites nestled amongst the rainforest, one of the hallmarks of Green Island Resort is its unique reef and rainforest setting. It offers a unique blend of luxurious accommodation and unparalleled access to the magnificent Great Barrier Reef, lush rainforest, and a spectacular array of bird and marine life.

Enjoy the white sands, crystal clear waters and magical rainforest. Indulge in rejuvenating massage treatments, gourmet experiences, and revel in an array of island activities including diving and snorkelling.

By night, the island transforms into a truly intimate tropical paradise. Enjoy the serenity of the island, perhaps with a cocktail by the pool, watch the sun set over the Coral Sea and mountains or delight in gourmet beach dining under the stars.

Day Two
Great Barrier Reef snorkelling tour from Green Island.

Day Three
Ferry transfer from Green Island to the Fleet Terminal in Cairns. On arrival to the Terminal organise your documentation for you Car Hire with Sugarland Car rental company and then travel North along the beautiful Cook Highway and scenic drive to Port Douglas and Mai Tai Resort.

Rest of the day to settle in and relax around the pool.

Day Four
Bloomfield Waterfalls - Private 4WD P/U time 07.30 am - The ultimate safari, featuring the best Far North Queensland has to offer, all in one day. Travel North along the Captain Cook Hwy in a luxury landcruiser with a maximum of 6 passengers. Cross over the Daintree River by Vehicular Cable Ferry before arriving at Alexandra Lookout for some special photos. Enjoy an exclusive half hour rainforest walk or creek swim on private property.

Tour includes Tropical Lunch, choice of steak, fish or vegetarian meal with salads, fruit platter, tea & coffee. Travel to Bloomfield falls and cruise down the Daintree River. Returns approximately 18.00 hours.

Day Five
Goodbye from Mai Tai Resort (unless you wish to extend your stay). Drop of your hire car at Sugarland who will then take you to Cairns Airport for your next flight.

Rates quoted are in Australian Dollars and fully inclusive of the Goods and Services Tax. Check-in time is 2pm and Check-out time is at 10am - Fees will occur for earlier check-in or later check-out. 50% Deposit require at time of booking and full monies due 14 days prior to arrival.

Cancellation Conditions
Cancellations must be received in writing / fax or email. If your cancellation is received 30 days or more prior to arrival the full deposit will be refunded less $300 administration costs. If your cancellation is received 30 days or less prior to arrival, the deposit paid will not be refunded. Any cancellation received 14 days or less prior to arrival will be charged the full amount of the total stay/packaged booked.

We strongly recommend you are covered with private travel insurance.
