The path of the Solar Eclipse is due directly overhead of Mai Tai Resort on the 14th Nov at approx 6.30am.  Being high on top of the Mountain should make Mai Tai the ideal viewing platform.

The total solar eclipse occurs naturally once every couple of years however 2012 is YOUR ONLY CHANCE (for the next 400-500 years at least) to experience this amazing natural phenomenon surrounded by the Great Barrier Reef and the oldest, World Heritage-listed rainforests on the planet.

The solar eclipse shadow will sweep across the Gulf of Carpenteria and Cape York, before the central line crosses directly over Mai Tai - Port Douglas, the Great Barrier Reef and Coral Sea at 6:39am.  Feel the experience when the moon over takes the sun and casts a shadow so large the land will be plunged into darkness.

Cancellation Conditions
Cancellations must be received in writing / fax or email. If your cancellation is received 30 days or more prior to arrival the full deposit will be refunded less $300 administration costs. If your cancellation is received 30 days or less prior to arrival, the deposit paid will not be refunded. Any cancellation received 14 days or less prior to arrival will be charged the full amount of the total stay/packaged booked.
