Welcome to Cairns – on arrival please call Apex Car Rental on 4053 2896 and they will organize to pick you up to sign car hire documentation.
Once you have collected your car take the Captain Cook Highway heading north along the scenic coastal drive to Port Douglas. Keep on the Highway and pass the Port Douglas turn off for approx. 10km till you see the Mt. Molloy turn off on your left. Take this left turn and drive exactly 2.8km and you will see the Mai Tai Signage on your right hand side.
Welcome to Mai Tai – time to settle in and relax and take a swim in our fresh salt water pool and take in the wonderful views across the Coral Coast and Daintree Rainforest.
Day 2 (B)
Enjoy Morning Half day tour with Daintree Discovery to Daintree and Cassowary Falls. Departs 7.30 am and Returns 12.30pm. Includes Daintree River Cruise looking for Crocs, snakes and birds, morning tea, Safari along station tracks and through creeks to the beautiful Cassowary Falls. Take a refreshing dip in this unique environment or feed the fish and turtles.
Make your way to the Marina in Port Douglas to board your Sailaway Sunset Cruise. 1 ½ hours sailing along the Coastline off Port Douglas. Include a selection of delicious Hot/Cold canapes and welcome drink. Boarding time is 4.45pm for 5pm departure and returning at 6.30pm.
Day 3 (B)
Goodbye from Mai Tai Resort – we hope you enjoyed your stay and wish you a pleasant trip home.
Leave Mai Tai and drive yourself back to Apex Car Rental Office (396 Sheridan Street, Cairns) who will then transport you to Cairns International Airport for your next flight.
Rates quoted are in Australian Dollars and fully inclusive of the Goods and Services Tax. Check-in time is 2pm and Check-out time is at 10am - 50% Deposit require at time of booking and full monies due 14 days prior to arrival.

Cancellations must be received in writing / fax or email. If your cancellation is received 30 days or more prior to arrival the full deposit will be refunded less $300 administration costs. If your cancellation is received 30 days or less prior to arrival, the deposit paid will not be refunded. Any cancellation received 14 days or less prior to arrival will be charged the full amount of the total stay/packaged booked.
We strongly recommend you are covered with private travel insurance.
