From Cairns Airport to Mai Tai Resort is approximately 1 hour by car.
To arrive at Mai Tai Resort, drive north from Cairns along the Captain Cook Highway, following the scenic route along the coast line.
On your right you will pass by Clifton Beach, Trinity Beach, Palm Cove, Ellis Beach and then Port Douglas. As you arrive into Port Douglas you will see a sign posting right off the Cook Highway which directs you into the township of Port Douglas.
Bypass this sign and keep travelling north along the Cook Highway for approximately 10km until you see the signpost "Mt Molloy". Turn left at this exit and travel for approximately 2.8km until you see a sign post on your left "SLOW VEHICLE TURNOUT 300m" - directly opposite this sign you will see the Mai Tai signage and entrance to the property.
